In the UK, Range Rover will pay $187 a month due to high insurance costs

JLR (formerly Jaguar Land Rover) has launched a new incentive program for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUVs in the UK. The manufacturer is ready to pay customers 150 pounds ($187 or 17 thousand rubles) per month for three years to pay off the insurance.

In this case, a number of conditions must be met.

JLR notes that due to the popularity of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport among car thieves, owners of these models faced a sharp increase in insurance premiums – by 56.4% over the year, according to Consumer Intelligence analysts. A new initiative called Land Rover Insurance Contribution aims to reduce the cost of protecting your car from criminals.

To do this, you need to use Land Rover Insurance’s own insurance products. The promotion applies to drivers aged 30 to 85 years who purchase and register a new SUV between May 1 and September 30, 2024. At the same time, its price should not exceed 150 thousand pounds: that is, the most powerful and luxurious modifications like the Range Rover Sport SV do not fall under the initiative. Buyers of versions whose insurance costs less than £150 a month will also not be able to count on payments.
